Litter Prevention and Reduction Case Studies

Share on Google+Share on LinkedInTweet about this on TwitterShare on Facebook

Since the Community Litter Grants program commenced in 2014, many community groups have been recipients of grants which they’ve used to reduce litter and improve their communities.

Five of these groups have been featured in a series of videos presenting case studies of various activities which can be undertaken for litter prevention. The stories show that the most successful projects took a holistic approach and ended up not only reducing litter in the area, but building public assets and getting a wide range of sectors of the community involved.

Watch the video clips below to get inspired about litter reduction! And if you are interested in applying for a Community Litter Grant, contact us at communitylittergrants@knswb.org.au.

This project is a NSW EPA Waste Less, Recycle More initiative funded by the waste levy.
