KNSWB Congress: Less Litter, Live Better

We listened: We’ve moved our KNSWB Litter Congress!

We’ve listened to feedback from all of you and we agree. The best time for our KNSWB Litter Congress, gathering together leaders in the field to talk strategy, solutions, innovations and more, is later in the year.

Congress will now be held on Wednesday 31 August – Thursday 1 September 2016, at WatervieW in Bicentennial Park, Sydney Olympic Park.

Now that our dates have changed, why not speak at Congress? We are looking for submissions on projects and people who:

  • Operate in the waste management industry and can showcase best practice examples
  • Belong to a community group tackling litter in the local neighbourhood, with a story to share
  • Work in research with and would like to explore, test and obtain feedback on from your peers
  • Manage community litter reduction efforts in a local government capacity
  • Tackle roadside littering
  • Run education programs with a litter reduction focus

Amended dates for Call for Papers are:

Submission of abstracts deadline: Wednesday 20 April 2016
Notice of acceptance into congress: Wednesday 18 May 2016
Submission of final paper & presentations: Wednesday 27 July 2016

If you’d like to present, please send through a completed abstract to congress@knswb.org.au.

If you have any questions about Congress and whether your paper or case is suitable, please contact Cass Chester, Conference & Events Manager, at congress@knswb.org.au.
